A 57 carat natural turquoise cabochon, untreated, displaying rich pyrite matrix — teal green threaded with iron and host rock, unrepeatable in nature.
The solid .800 silver mount, is rooted in Mughal jewellery tradition. The serrated crown and openwork filigree shoulders echo the jali screens and scrollwork of Lahore and Agra — 21 grams of considered metalwork, not costume weight. Hand finished by artisians in Lahore, Pakistan.
