I completed the Art&Design program at the Faculty of Art of the Jagiellonian University? Wait, in Kraków? It says Uniwersytet im. KEN in Kraków. The English might be: I completed the Art&Design program at the Faculty of Arts at the University named after KEN in Krakow, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree.

My creative practice focuses on narrative painting, balancing figurative and abstract elements. I combine elements of fantasy, religious iconography and symbolism, treating them as material for building my own, often grotesque visual stories. I operate in an area I describe as seriously unserious painting — simultaneously working with pathos, deformation and subtle humor.

Simultaneously, I develop two strands: expressive grotesque religious-fantasy, based on dramatic, exaggerated depictions of characters and scenes, and narrative organic abstraction, where meaning arises through title, rhythm of forms, and color tensions. Both areas are united by deformation, metaphor and ironic distance, allowing me to break literalness and the excess of lofty solemnity.

I am interested in the image as a contemporary form of myth — a space where the sacred meets the grotesque, and where narration meets abstraction. I treat painting as a medium for storytelling, emotion and symbol, not as illustration of reality.
