This exhibition is titled: Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision
Michael Lam and Nicole Lubbers
From a dazzling exchange of artistic synergy, Michael Lam and Nicole Lubbers will adorn the Times Square big screen with their joint exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. This groundbreaking event brings together two unique creative voices to present a fusion of techniques, styles and expressions, united by their shared passion for the transformative power of art.
Michael Lam, master of Single Stroke Painting, has fascinated audiences for decades with his ability to convey depth and emotion in a single, fluid brushstroke. His works testify to the discipline and meditative focus required to transform complexity into simplicity. Each stroke carries an inherent rhythm that reflects the essence of movement and life itself.
Nicole Lubbers, meanwhile, is recognized for her structured, sculptural compositions that blur the boundaries between painting and relief. Her creations explore the interaction between light and shadow and offer a tactile experience inviting the viewer to dialog with the art on multiple sensory levels. Through her complex layers and innovative use of materials, Nicole creates dynamic pieces that evoke both strength and vulnerability.
Together, Michael and Nicole have designed an exhibition where their distinct artistic languages blend into a harmonious dialogue. The violet theme – a color often associated with creativity, spirituality and transformation – serves as a guiding thread and weaves their works into a cohesive visual narrative. This collaboration celebrates the balance between movement and stillness, fluidity and texture, and invites the public to immerse themselves in a space where contrasts complement each other.
The opening of the exhibition on the emblematic Times Square screen marks a major milestone for both artists. Times Square, known as the “Crossroads of the World,” offers an unparalleled platform to share their vision with a global audience. Against the vibrant energy of the city, Harmony in Motion promises to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision is much more than an art exhibition; it is proof of the power of collaboration, the beauty of diversity, and the shared human experience that art can evoke. Through their work, Michael Lam and Nicole Lubbers remind us that, both in art and in life, harmony arises when we embrace our differences as well as our similarities.
This unmissable event will illuminate Times Square and invite everyone to witness the crossroads of two artistic journeys converging toward a breathtaking vision.
