My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly arranged studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to collect many artistic impressions that shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal mainly with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is, for me, an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 100 cm, it is required to use a stretcher frame sized 150 x 90 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original that has been signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on a repeatedly white-primed gallery canvas.
