Splendid antique percolator coffee pot, of the "egg boiler" type (or Potsdammer Boiler), a top antique piece for display, expression of French elegance from the early 1900s. The object stands out for its exceptional condition and for being completely original and functional.
Technical Characteristics and Details:
Materials: Body in precious copper, fittings and legs in cast brass, handle and knobs in turned wood (or ebonized).
Design: The urn-shaped body is supported by a refined decorative tripod with griffin/achern legs, typical of the eclectic style of the period.
Interior: Silver-plated interior, a feature of luxury models that ensures better heat retention and does not alter the aroma of the beverages.
Marks and Punches: Bearing the inscription on the base "CH M. & CO" and the prestigious French patent mark "Bte S.G.D.G." (Breveté Sans Garantie du Gouvernement) with serial number 7467 and model number 4.
