Description from the seller
Original artwork on canvas, on wooden panel, 55x46 cm, posters, spray paint, acrylic, Posca.
Original and unique piece, straight from the studio. Protected and fast shipping. Ready to hang on the wall
Lasveguix not only paints, he tears, layers, rebuilds. His creations are wall skins, fragments of urbanity where the poster blends with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with spray paint and Posca. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one finds the echo of the great names who marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn-poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for word-poetry, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for engaged icons.
Active for over twenty years in the street art scene, Lasveguix has established a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he has translated this street heritage into the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his uniqueness, he regularly participates in charitable galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire, or SOS Préma. His creations reach record amounts there, confirming a distinct place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates accessible, free, and vibrant art, where every torn fragment tells a story of love and positivity.
