Giuseppe Marino was born in 1956 in Teramo. In his long artistic career he has produced important cycles, such as post estroflessione, the investigation into the very matter that composes the work, the influence of spatialism; subsequently the abstract figuration that has exalted the chromatic impact and the dreamlike immersion of the viewer. The latest series of Marino’s luminous and colorful paintings and the immersion in his positive and optimistic mindset are incredibly refreshing. The artist has always needed a very critical eye; he has modified his production, choosing, among several versions of the same painting, the one that best achieves the desired effect. The clarity and assurance of the new paintings that have recently been shown at international trade fair editions have demonstrated that his quality control is optimal and that his mastery of the expressive process is truly very good.
