Description
The High Priestess No. 5 – Major Arcana belongs to a pictorial research devoted to contemporary archetypes, where the symbolic tradition of the Tarot meets a deeply current sensibility.
The gaze of the figure immediately captures the observer, establishing a silent dialogue that seems to transcend the surface of the painting. The small crimson heart placed at the center of the forehead becomes the symbol of a knowledge born from the union between intuition and feeling, transforming the face into a threshold between the visible world and the inner one.
The deep tones of blue envelop the composition like an aura, while oil painting returns a luminous, vibrant material rich in depth.
More than representing a character, this work evokes a state of being: silence, listening, mystery, and the strength of awareness.
Fully handmade, The High Priestess No. 5 is a unique work, destined for collectors who appreciate contemporary figurative painting, symbolism, and works capable of maintaining a strong aesthetic and emotional presence over time.
Nush Menna's works are part of private collections in several countries around the world, across Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Her evolving painting language is appreciated by collectors interested in the dialogue between symbolism, contemporary portraiture, and symbolic and introspective research.
Each painting by Nush Menna arises from a personal artistic journey and is made entirely by hand in a unique edition. Auctions represent an opportunity to acquire an original work by the artist, destined to enter a private collection.
