My works arise from an intuitive process in which color, form and space condense into their own visual language. Starting points are sketches, architectural structures, or individual fields of color. As the painting progresses, compositions are overlapped, altered and renegotiated until a balance between clarity and openness emerges.
Architecture plays a central role in this. Buildings, facades and geometric shapes become carriers of inner states, memories and atmospheres. The images move between figuration and abstraction and open spaces for personal associations.
“REFUGE” is part of this ongoing series of works.
Each work is a unique piece, signed and dated on the back. A certificate of authenticity is included.
