πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition Curator, Music Critic…)
Versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions drawn from his painting work shown in galleries at the moment. This series reinterprets the icons of Pop Art and present-day Street Art using the artist’s own codes. Discover these editions in preview before you can bid on the actual acrylic-painted paintings that will go on sale mid-July. Do not hesitate to also explore the artist’s sculpted works (Les Robbit). A series of vividly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, stirred by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), hence his name. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends bold pop with playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
