Armand Meffre (1929–2009) is a French actor and painter.
Iconic stage and film actor, Armand Meffre has acted under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort, and Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous, and deeply humane body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly human outlook, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, each painting tells a story and resonates with its authenticity.
