Leonardo's Last Supper raised to street-level high voltage. The sacred composition is there, intact in its order: Christ at the center, the apostles arranged in groups, the table clothed in white, but everything else explodes into a pop shock: comic book bubbles (LOVE, POW, ZAP, HOPE), yellow smileys, mod targets, checkered patterns, lightning bolts, fluorescent drips that run down the tablecloth and the walls.
