The Sheaf Gatherers of Jurlop
Jurlop is the pseudonym of a Córdoba-based painter and artist who was active mainly between the 1950s and 1970s. Linked to the Julio Romero de Torres school, his workshop trained prominent local artists in towns such as Fernán Núñez.
His work is characterized by classical landscapes and still lifes, notable for the use of brushstrokes with pronounced relief and texture.
Nowadays, his oil paintings on canvas are frequently traded in the vintage art and collectibles market.
It is clearly signed on the bottom right.
The provenance is from a family.
Its condition is perfect.
It is shipped rolled in a tube to prevent damage.
Its dimensions are 120 x 60 cm.
