Small antique Cypriot terracotta jug with a trilobed neck
* Origin: Cyprus.
* Likely period: between 800 and 600 BC (Cypro-Archaic/Geometric period).
* Description: small jug with a globular body, painted geometric decoration (bands and droplet motifs), handle connecting the shoulder to the neck, characteristic trilobed neck.
* Authenticity: wear traces, concretions and the certificate of a specialized antique dealer.
* Condition: good overall with old wear and a few concretions.
The visible certificate mentions a “Cypriot terracotta pottery with trilobed neck,” authenticated by Gilles Cohen "à la reine Margot" / archaeology - ancient high antiquity -7, quai de Conti. Paris 75006.
