There is something calm and at the same time restless in this image — like a moment when you pause and look at what lies behind you. The dark, almost soot-covered areas feel like remnants of something that was once bright and alive. They carry heaviness, but not emptiness.

Between them, warm, golden traces run through. They do not seem imposed, but rather like something slowly making its way forward — careful, yet determined. It is not radiant, flawless shine, but one that comes from experience.

The whole thing reminds of a person who has left behind something that left traces. And yet — or perhaps because of it — there is still something that glows. Not loud, not perfect, but real.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio — a place where I can dive completely into my colors, forms and thoughts. Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never let me go — it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal primarily with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said — emotions, moods and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.

I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Every work is a piece of myself — an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 100 cm you need a stretched canvas frame of size 150 x 90 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have a craftsman or gallery owner stretch it for you.

This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated to the year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple coats of white primer gallery canvas.

A varnish was applied to protect the work as well.

This work is handcrafted and thus unique!
