My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can immerse myself completely in my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and inspires me anew again and again. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I deal primarily with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and gaps that are often only expressible in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth take center stage. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm you need a stretched frame (stretcher) sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery professional.
This is a handmade original, personally signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple coats of white gesso on a gallery canvas.
A varnish was applied to protect the work.
