My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio — a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, forms, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me — it accompanies me to this day and constantly inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal primarily with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said — emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself — an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 100 cm, a stretcher frame of 150 x 90 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm is needed.
You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artist or gallery.
This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.
High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints have been used on multiple coats of white-primed gallery canvas.
