Rare 'Litron' cup with saucer – France, Empire period, early 19th century (c. 1805-1820)
Elegant cup with saucer in French porcelain, part of the Parisian production of the Empire period. Made in the classic 'Litron' shape, it features a refined deep blue ground enriched by rich 24-karat gold gilding.
The decoration includes medallions with polychrome putti, gilded palmette motifs, a swan, and neoclassical garlands. The handle, finely molded and gilded, ends with a characteristic raised grotesque mask, a decorative element typical of high-quality productions of the era.
Interior completely gilded and original coordinated saucer.
Period: early 19th century (about 1805-1820)

Material: hand-painted and gilded porcelain
