Description from the seller

In this evocative and enigmatic work, maestro Luigi Improta returns to explore the atmospheres of magical realism and contemporary symbolism, staging the deep bond between the human being and the wild nature. The protagonist of the painting is a young woman with an alabaster face and mesmerizing green eyes, partially veiled by a sumptuous, flowing mane of red hair that falls softly over her shoulders. In her arms she holds a magnificent fox, its tawny coat echoing and perfectly dialoguing with the warm tones of the girl's hair.

The contrast between the dark, almost impenetrable background and the brightness emanating from the figures in the foreground accentuates the intimate and fairy-tale character of the composition. The gazes of the girl and the animal, both directed toward the viewer, create a strong emotional tension and a sense of silent complicity. The painting technique is soft and precise, attentive to delicately render the velvety texture of the skin and the vibrant softness of the fur, transporting the viewer into a tale suspended in time.

An artwork of great expressive intensity with refined decorative impact, ideal to evoke a note of mystery and elegant charm in salons, professional studios, or private collections dedicated to the masters of modern Italian figuration.

The painting, visible in the image, is executed in oil on canvas with dimensions 40x60 cm and is in excellent conservational condition. The work bears the author’s signature in the lower left. To guarantee absolute originality, as shown, the back of the canvas and the wooden frame (fitted with canvas wedges) are marked with multiple authentic original stamps impressed by the artist, bearing the inscription: "PER AUTENTICA - Luigi Improta - Opera da me eseguita", complete with catalog number.
