Description from the seller
INGRAVITATED FOREST 122 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravitated Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that does not hold itself up by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air force us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Ingravitated Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravitated Forest” already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
