On a bright white background, slightly atmospheric, a horizontal slit of metallic pigment traverses the composition with mineral and electric presence. Silver, graphite, charcoal black and gold flashes intertwine in a dense, granular band, where matter behaves like a fragment of geology: crystals, ash and light compressed in a single gesture.

The work plays with the contrast between the quietness of the white field and the tactile intensity of the central line. The white is not empty: it breathes, vibrates and lifts the metallic band, which seems to float above the canvas with the force of a crack opening on the surface. The fine splashes and the golden accents introduce a jewel pulse, a nearly nocturnal vibration within a diurnal palette.
