Included are the original sales receipt (no. 1615) and the original price tag. Purchased at the gallery-shop "Moskovsky Khudozhnik" (Artist of Moscow) on April 22, 1985.

Moscow nonconformist artist active from the 1950s to the 1990s and co-founder of the "Group of Nine".
Mikhail Ivanov (1927–2000) is regarded among the most important Russian artists of the second half of the 20th century. His name is linked to the involvement of the so-called "Sestantisti" (the 1960s generation), who played a fundamental role in liberating contemporary painting from dogmatic and ideological pressures.
M. Ivanov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
The artist mainly painted Moscow landscapes in oil.
Ivanov's works are held at the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, other museums across Russia, and in private collections in Europe, the United States, and Japan.
