The volume offers a rich and detailed historical, social, and cultural panorama of the Etna city, enriched by an exceptional iconographic apparatus of no less than 139 reproductions of period prints, maps, and historical views of great charm. This prestigious edition was printed under the supervision of Editalia and Domenico Sanfilippo Editore in January 1995 on special high-bulk paper supplied by the renowned Cartiere Miliani Fabriano. It is a exclusive work in a limited and numbered edition of only 2,499 copies worldwide; the lot in question bears the low edition number No. 112, as certified by the colophon at the end of the volume.
