AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Sculpture PARFUM camelon (passes from green to violet) by Jean-François Piecourt, all in powder-coated steel, edition of 499 copies with random numbering, hand-signed
21 x 13 x 5 cm

MY ART
My work rests on a fully controlled creation process, at the boundary between industrial design and contemporary sculpture.
Each artwork is born from the design of an original 3D model, then cut into a succession of slices.
Each slice is redrawn, reworked and sculpted individually, giving rise to a sculpture within a sculpture, where each slice has its own reading. The whole is then laser-cut in raw steel, and manually assembled by precise mechanical fitting, slice by slice.
Once the work is assembled, it is powder-coated epoxy finish, sealing the material and providing a durable and homogeneous finish, the final signature of the work.
