Chamberstick (2) - Bronze, Marble - Winged Sphinxes 'Milo'

Elegant pair of patinated bronze candle holders depicting winged sphinxes with feminine faces, leonine bodies, and finely worked wings.

Each figure bears on top a candle holder decorated with classical motifs, in the Neoclassical/Empire style. The bases are squared, dark in color, and bear the signature “Milo”.

General good condition, with patina, signs of aging, slight oxidations and superficial traces visible from the photos. Presence of dust and small marks on the bases, consistent with age and use.
