Andrea Krauß, an original hand-painted acrylic on canvas titled Baumstudie_14, 2025, 40 × 20 cm, in greens, whites and cream, a landscape depicting birch trees, signed on the back and ready to hang, in excellent condition, from Germany, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Lovingly crafted down to the smallest detail, the landscapes and nature spaces in Andrea Krauß’s paintings present themselves. In “Nature Studies” she devotes herself with remarkable precision and sensitivity to the portrayal of birch trees in their natural surroundings. The acrylic-on-canvas scene shows two distinctive birch trunks that stand out against the light background with their characteristic white–black bark. Through a vivid, impasto application of color, a fascinating surface texture emerges, suggesting depth and movement.
The finely graded greens of the foliage—from deep, saturated green to bright yellow-green—create a multilayered, almost impressionistic play of light and shadow.
This work is not only a natural observation but also a quiet homage to the structure and elegance of the birch. Ideal for collectors of contemporary nature painting as well as lovers of mood-rich forest landscapes.
