Andrea Krauß’s original acrylic painting Encounter of birches _08, created in 2025 on a 3D wood panel with 6 cm depth in green, white and cream tones, features three birch trunks in a Landschaft and is signed on the back, sold directly by the artist from Germany.
Description from the seller
Lovingly crafted down to the smallest detail, the landscapes and natural spaces appear in Andrea Krauß's paintings.
In “Nature Studies” she focuses with remarkable precision and sensitivity on the depiction of birches in their natural surroundings. The acrylic-on-wood scene shows three distinctive birch trunks that stand out from the light background with their characteristic white-brown bark. Through a lively, impasto application of color, a fascinating surface texture emerges that suggests depth and movement.
The finely graded greens of the foliage—from deep, lush green to bright yellow-green—create a multilayered, almost impressionistic play of light and shadow. The subtle beige background brings the composition to rest and directs the focus entirely to the study of the trees—both in form and in texture.
This work is not only a natural observation but also a quiet homage to the structure and elegance of the birch. Ideal for collectors of contemporary nature painting as well as lovers of atmospheric forest landscapes.
