Herend - Centrepiece - Porcelain - Herend candlestick

I am putting up for auction a beautiful, three-branch candelabra featuring the green Apponyi pattern; it is in flawless condition. Both the gilding and the painting are pristine. It would make a perfect centerpiece or accessory for a table. Dimensions are shown in the photos.
The porcelain is of first-class quality.
On the occasion of the 1867 Paris World Exhibition, at a reception in honor of József Ferenc, the tables of the Elysée Palace were set with Apponyi-patterned Herendi sets. The sample made at the request of Count Albert Apponyi was created by enlarging a detail of the Indian flower basket (fleurs des indes). The clean and restrained pattern created in this way is painted by the Herend masters in purple (AP), green (AV), orange (AOG) and blue (AB).
