Unique and original artwork hand-painted by Léo Varek
French contemporary artist, Léo Varek is developing today a series of pop canvases inspired by the codes of street art, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed numerous monumental frescoes, notably in Europe, including a project of over 600 m² in Courchevel, France. This background directly informs my current approach, more condensed, but still guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped worldwide. Each canvas is handmade in my studio in France, using mixed media combining acrylic and aerosol.
I work spontaneously to maintain a tension in the gesture, strong contrasts, and a real vibrancy of the colors.
