Painted with acrylic paints and acrylic ink on sturdy artist's paper, protected several times with varnish.
The back bears my artist’s stamp, is dated and signed again.

I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works are almost exclusively created on paper. This more compact and calmer working method suits not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me space to fully immerse myself in the subject.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles – for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga; since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with character – beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor and heart. Perhaps one of them will speak to you.
