Description from the seller

Scarce Variant Belle Époque Bicycle Window Card

• Artist/Date: Émile Clouet, c. 1891–1895.
• Publisher: Imp. KOSSUTH & Cie, 24 r. Albouy, PARIS
• Subject:Cycles Le Globe / George Hetley, rue Garnier, NEUILLY-sur-SEINE
• Medium: Chromolithograph on rigid counter-cardstock with original hanging punch-hole.
• Dimensions: Approx.32 x 45 cm

Description & Condition
An exceptionally rare variant retail point-of-sale display card. This composition shifts focus to a Belle Époque woman in a stylish white puff-sleeve blouse and blue skirt, perched gracefully on a stone balustrade next to her bicycle . Features the company's globe emblem logo on the left and a country road scene in the background. Includes the iconic blank green lower banner intended for localized distributor stamping.

• Condition: Very Good. Mild surface dust, slight edge rubbing, and a gentle vintage tone. Superb coloration and structurally sound board presentation.

Valuation on previous sales
• Estimated Value:850 – 1,250 Euros

Note: This specific "balustrade" design is arguably tougher to find than the more common globe-background variant, making it a highly desirable piece of early cycling ephemera for specialist collectors.
