Lasveguix, Magritte, collage on panel, original edition, 30×24 cm, 2026, signed by hand, portrait theme, weight 2 kg, unframed, country of origin France, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Canvas panel, torn posters, aerosol, acrylic, Posca, unframed, 30x24cm
Unique work on paper, straight from the studio. Protected and fast shipping.
Lasveguix not only paints, he tears apart, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skins of walls, fragments of urbanity where the poster mingles with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with aerosol and Posca. Each work is a pulsation, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one finds the echoes of the great names that marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for the art of torn posters, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for the urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
For more than twenty years active in the street art scene, Lasveguix has carved out a universe that is at once punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transposes this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Known for his singularity, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His creations reach record prices there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates an art that is accessible, free and vibrant, where every torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
