Lasveguix doesn’t just paint, he tears, layers, reconstructs. His creations are wall skins, fragments of urbanity where the poster blends with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with aerosol and Posca. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one finds the echo of the great names who marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for the torn poster, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for the urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
For more than twenty years active in the street art scene, Lasveguix has managed to carve out a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transpose this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever going out.
Recognized for his singularity, he regularly participates in charitable galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His works reach record sums there, confirming a distinct place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix asserts an accessible, free, and vibrant art, where each torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
