Lasveguix, Serge le lapin, collage on art paper, original edition, year 2026, signed by hand, 21 × 29.7 cm, 200 g, excellent condition, France, direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
torn posters, aerosol, acrylic, on art paper. Unique piece straight from the studio. Secure and fast shipping. Sold without a frame
Lasveguix not only paints, he tears apart, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skins of walls, fragments of urbanity where the poster mingles with graffiti, where acrylic speaks with aerosol and Posca. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Introduced to graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, you can hear the echoes of the great names that marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for art of the torn poster, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
For more than twenty years active in the street art scene, Lasveguix has managed to establish a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he translates this street heritage into the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory freeze yet never fade.
Known for his singularity, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His works reach record prices there, confirming a distinct place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates accessible, free, and vibrant art, where every torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
