This item is an antique Dutch hallway mirror or brush cabinet, probably from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The frame is made of brass or copper repoussé (embossing technique) on a wooden frame, often with floral motifs and a decorative pediment. The set includes a central beveled mirror and two clothing brushes hung on the sides, used for brushing coat/s before going out.
