Description from the seller
FARIM - Large Ice Bucket / Hand-Worked Pewter Vase - Grapes Cluster Motif
Elegant and imposing ice bucket (also usable as a splendid decorative vase for flowers), made in pure artistic pewter by the renowned Italian manufactory FARIM.
The piece stands out for a splendid treatment of the body entirely hand-hammered, which gives the metal a fascinating play of light and reflections. The upper rim is elegantly undulated in a festoon shape and is enriched with refined bas-relief details depicting grapevines and grape clusters with grape leaves, a classic ornamental motif that repeats in a mirror-like fashion along the circular base.
The object is solid, with a substantial weight of over 1 kilogram, testimony to the high quality of the alloy and the thickness of the metal used in the casting. Internally there is the original stamp of the FARIM manufactory which certifies its authenticity.
