Thomas-Rosenthal - Vase - Ceramic - Ivory Series

Lovely vase produced in Germany in the first half of the 20th century by the Thomas company.
The factory was founded in 1904 by Fritz Thomas and had already been acquired in 1908 by the famous Rosenthal group, which kept the Thomas brand for the high-end lines.
The mark on the bottom confirms that this is an original Thomas Ivory piece, a renowned ivory-colored porcelain line produced by the historic German manufactory Thomas in Marktredwitz, Bavaria (Germany).
The 'Ivory' line: This specific mark with the shield and the cursive inscription "Thomas Ivory" identifies porcelain produced in the warm ivory hue (instead of the classic snow white), very popular in the mid-20th century.
The vase is finely decorated with multicolored floral and faunal motifs.
The vase is in excellent condition; the gold gilt around the rim is in perfect condition.
