Augustus (August) Knip (Amsterdam, 1819 – Baden-Baden, after 1859 and before 1862) was a Dutch draftsman, painter, set design painter, and lithographer from the well-known Knip family of painters. He was especially known for his oil paintings of farm animals and landscapes.

Knip was the son of the painter Josephus Augustus Knip and the brother of Henriëtte Ronner-Knip. He specialized in painting sheep, goats, billy goats, and horses, often depicted in stable interiors or rural settings. Additionally, he created some landscapes inspired by German and Italian examples.
