Born in 1953 in Rouen, Philippe Avenel lives and works in Paris. An accomplished visual artist, he graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 1979, where he refined his skills in the studios of great masters such as George Rohner, Fiorini, and Frélaut.
His specialties include painting and printmaking, mediums he uses to express an inner quest through fragmented forms and structures.
