Rare Victorian Centre Seconds “Decimal” chronograph, circa 1880. Early version with key-wind and a side slider for timekeeping. Large 55 mm case with enamel dial and a rare 300 Decimal scale, typical for early English precision timepieces. Running. With a decorative black Art Deco chain featuring a Chinese “Shou” symbol. The case bears no precious-metal hallmarks, which can occur on early cases from this era. A rare and exceptional collector’s watch with a strong presence.
