Antique Art Nouveau Desk Lamp – Gilt Brass & Amber Frosted Glass Tulip Shade – c. 1900-1920

A beautiful and authentic Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) desk or bedside table lamp dating from the early 20th century (circa 1900–1920).
The lamp features an elegant, organic "gooseneck" design that perfectly captures the naturalistic essence of the period.

* **Base & Stem:** Expertly cast in solid brass with a gorgeous rich patina. The stem is adorned with highly detailed, stylized acanthus leaves rising from an asymmetrical, fluidly shaped base with geometric and floral reliefs. Includes an original brass hexagonal adjustable joint.
* **Glass Shade:** A stunning "tulip" shaped shade made of frosted/satined glass in a warm amber and honey yellow hue. The multi-layered petal design diffuses the light beautifully, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere when lit.
* **Condition:** In very good antique condition with a beautiful aged patina on the brass surface. The glass shade is free of cracks or major chips. There is a minor, tiny historic irregularity/fleabite on the upper lip of the cast base edge, which is consistent with its age and manufacturing process.
* **Electricity:** The wiring, inline switch, and plug have been updated during the late 20th century for modern safety compliance. It uses a standard small screw bulb (E14). Fully functional and ready to use.
