Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.

"Mechanical head" This work is from a series at the intersection of analytical cubism and industrial constructivism: angular planes and rigid geometric segments form a semblance of a profile-mechanism, featuring a large circular "eye" on an ochre segment, a terracotta-colored "beak" protruding from the center, and the overall architecture of the face, assembled like a machine part. A smooth gray arc on the right cuts through the composition, softening the rigidity of the angular forms and imparting a sense of rotation, almost turbine-like movement, to the entire structure. The palette is muted earthy tones: ochre, rusty terracotta, graphite gray, cream, and a cool mint-blue background, with dotted inserts of ribbed hatching that enhance the sense of metallic surface and volume. The work is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
