Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 120 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravidad Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air force us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we remove the weight from nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Ingravidad Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberating act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravidad Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
