Sagrasse presents 2050 - Green, a resin and marble powder sculpture, limited edition in green, created in 2022, hand-signed, measuring 20 x 15 x 15 cm, made in Italy and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in skilled craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality between the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always harbored. What for decades had been “only” an excellent technique thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

Dimensions: 20x15x15 cm

Edition: limited edition 100 ex - green

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious showcases. Among them are his presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Center for Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from functional constraints, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly within the traditions of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the comparison to Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, the irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, and Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of fully manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean only with a soft cloth, without detergents.
