Description from the seller
"Is What You Want", oil on MDF, 31.9 x 23.4 cm, 2026
Oil painting on 1 cm-thick MDF board.
Support prepared on all sides.
Painting with varnish (removable).
Signed and dated in the top right corner.
Patrícia Trindade (1989) is a Portuguese artist with a degree in Plastic Arts and a Master's in Painting, both from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto. Although she has devoted over the years to various painting series with diverse themes, the male figure has become the central element of her work. This has served as the motif for various approaches and narratives — from objectification of the body, to eroticism, to homosexuality and voyeurism — that question the usual representations of virility and passivity of gender in iconographic depictions.
*Painting WITHOUT a frame - the image serves only as presentation suggestion.
*IMPORTANT: Due to restrictions imposed by Portuguese carriers and shipping limitations beyond my control, shipments of orders to the United States will not be made.
