Splendid vase with lid, hexagonal body, produced in Italy (Made in Italy) by the renowned house “Manifattura di Verona” with a Verona Arena symbol in the mark placed beneath the vase.
The vase features hand-painted decorations on porcelain.
The decorations present an oval floral cameo, central on three sides of the hexagonal body, alternating on the three other sides with fine painting of gilded leaves on a white and blue background.
Excellent tableware of balanced dimensions, delicate in appearance and unique of its kind.
The producing house developed it in collaboration with the well-known Veronese house Ancap in the period around 1980, drawing inspiration for the form from ancient hexagonal Chinese vases and for the decoration from Art Nouveau, with its embroidery-like effect.
