A Victorian field or pillar microscope, often referred to as a simplified compound microscope in nice original condition.

Original lacquered brass and dating from the late 19th century c1890. It comes in it's fitted walnut case with green baize rests the original key and various accessories including a selection of slides, most of which are unused. A very clean example in good original condition and in working order.
