Le Yack presents Alpine Balcony - Hand signed, a 40 × 40 cm giclée print on canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher, hand-signed by the artist, in a limited edition of 20 from 2020 or later, depicting a man on a mountain chalet balcony overlooking a vast snowy alpine panorama, with a certificate of authenticity and ready to frame, shipped from France.
Description from the seller
This figurative work transports us to the top of a mountain chalet, facing an absolutely majestic Alpine panorama. Leaning on the wooden railing of a sunlit terrace, a man in a red knitted sweater silently contemplates the snow-covered mountain chain that unfolds to infinity beneath a sky of dazzling blue. His reverent posture and peaceful stillness embody the wonder of man before the grandeur of nature.
The bright high-altitude light carves the edges of the pristine summits and casts the sharp shadows of the balcony posts on the light wooden floor. The warm red of the knit contrasts with the dazzling whiteness of the eternal snows and the deep blue of the firmament, creating a chromatic harmony of striking force. The contrast between the solitary tranquility of the contemplator and the mineral vastness of the landscape sculpts an atmosphere decisively “Hopperian.” An invitation to escape, celebrating the silence and the fullness of the peaks.
