Le Yack's giclée on canvas titled Airport Bar at Night, hand-signed, edition limited to 20 numbered copies, 40 x 40 cm, produced in France, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, ready to frame and shipped from France.
Description from the seller
This figurative work plunges us into the hushed, melancholic atmosphere of an airport bar, at nightfall. Seated on a stool at a glossy mahogany counter, a woman in a red dress sips a glass of wine, her gaze lost in the distance, suspended in the in-between of a journey. Her pensive posture and timeless refinement evoke waiting, the imminence of a departure or a farewell.
Behind the large glass wall, planes shimmer on the tarmac under a night-blue sky studded with orange lights. The hanging lamp casts a warm halo on the precious wood and the aligned bottles, sculpting the volumes in a striking chiaroscuro. The contrast between the intimate solitude of the woman and the vast anonymous expanse of the nocturnal terminal creates a narrative tension decidedly Hopperesque. An invitation to dream, celebrating the poignant beauty of transit and traveling solitude moments.
