Fascinating vintage deck of cards for divination and cartomancy titled "Supreme Egyptian Art", published in Milan by the historic Bietti Publishing House.
This specific lot holds exceptional historical and collectible interest thanks to the presence of the original tax stamp ("Repubblica Italiana - Lire Trecento") with the printed indication "June 1964" on the Ace of Cups. This bureaucratic detail of the era uniquely and precisely certifies the year of production (mid-1960s)
The deck is structurally intact. The stock sheets preserve excellent rigidity and the colors of the period print are vivid and well-preserved. A physiological and natural patina of time is noted (slight aging spots due to age) on some cards
